Pianist Margaret McLynn emigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1974.
She holds an Associate of the Arts in Music from Camosun College/Victoria Conservatory of Music in voice. She also holds a L.L.C.M. in piano and an A.R.C.T. in both voice and piano.
Margaret sang with Pacific Opera Chorus for sixteen years and performed solo roles with opera studio, children’s theatre and the Victoria Gilbert and Sullivan society.
Several years ago Margaret returned to the piano and currently studies with Tzenka Dianova.
Schubert has always been one of Margaret’s favorite composers and she enjoyed participating as a pianist performer on the Winterreise Project in 2015. A very busy musician herself, we are very happy that she made time to join us as an observer on the Vaughan Williams Project this year.
